fall 2018

Fall 2018 collection was inspired by German New Objectivity movement in the 1920s. As a reaction towards Expressionism, New Objectivity photography focused on capturing modern objects in dynamic compositions. I drew inspiration from photographers such as Hein Gorny and Besnyo Eva.

The silhouettes in my collection mirror the repetition of lines and shifting angles found in photographs from the New Objectivity movement.
